The Story of DEA
A Message From our Founder
I started DEA as a means of spreading awareness of Albanian culture through one of my other passions, fragrance. Growing up with a name like Dea in the United States... could make you feel like the odd one out.
The Dea name became particularly popular after findings in 1928 by Italian archaeologist Luigi Ugolini. The statue uncovered radiated beauty and was named Dea from the Latin word Goddess. Some say, that it celebrates beauty in both the female and male forms, and it's the bust of the God Apollo named after Apollonia an ancient city close to where I was born. This rich history influenced me to create a fragrance that makes us all feel confident, powerful, and the best version of ourselves.
